Man arrested after ‘serious incident’ in north Dublin

A man has been arrested after a “serious incident” in north Dublin, Irish police have said.

PA News is reporting that several people are believed to have been stabbed during the incident.

The man was arrested in the Stoneybatter area of the city on Sunday and is currently being detained at a police station.

Police remain at the scene but said there is no “ongoing risk to the public at this time”.
